The procedure enhances the appearance of the bust by using breast implants.
Breast augmentation usually begins with an incision that is well-hidden under your natural breast. The surgeon will then insert and position the implant either under or over your pectoral muscle, depending on factors such as the type and size of your implant and your body type. The incision is then closed with several types of sutures, skin adhesive and surgical tape.
After your surgery, you will be monitored in a recovery area to make sure no problems occur. Most women go home a few hours after surgery, but you’ll need to avoid being active for at least two weeks and wear a support bra at all times for a month. Specific instructions will be provided on caring for your incisions and relieving any soreness or swelling.
As with any cosmetic medical procedure, results vary from patient to patient.
