Instructions will be discussed and provided for your breast surgery recovery. You may use medications to help relieve pain and lower the risk of infection. Heavy lifting and physically demanding activities will need to be avoided for a few weeks, but most women are able to return to work and basic activities within one to two days. Most women fully recover from this surgery in about two to three weeks.
